I am a recent graduate of the University of Iowa School of Library and Information Science. I am also the new Emerging Technologies Librarian at Kirkwood Community College. Speaking broadly, my job is to use “emerging technologies” to innovate and improve library services for Kirkwood students, faculty and staff. To this end, I am interested in learning about new Web 2.0 applications and how they can be used in the library environment. I hope to pass my new knowledge on to you with this blog.
